About Chote Kadam

Chote Kadam was started by Anuradha Moganti with one simple thought: what if our unused clothes could restore someone's dignity? Today it's a structured donation initiative — connecting people who want to give with people who truly need, through a transparent, organized process.

Mission

We make clothing donations systematic and dignified not charity, but exchange. Beyond clothes, we help individuals, especially women and job seekers, access the everyday and professional attire that builds confidence and independence.

Why Chote Kadam

A structured approach to ensure your generosity reaches those who truly need it.

Purposeful

reaches genuine beneficiaries, not middlemen

Transparent

you get updates and photos from every drive

Dignified

recipients pay a symbolic ₹2, so it's a choice, not a handout

Sustainable

donor contribution of ₹10/garment covers cleaning & logistics

What You Can Donate

Clean, wearable garments — kurtis, sarees, shirts, t-shirts, trousers, blankets, bedsheets. (No torn or damaged items, please.)

How It Works:

Collect & Care

we wash, sort, and pack every garment.

Community Mela

recipients choose what they need for ₹2/item.

Sustain

donors contribute ₹10/garment to keep the cycle running.

Our Impact

Since inception, Chote Kadam has organized activities with care and respect, ensuring every garment finds its way to someone who truly needs it across various institutions.
